Procedure:

Step 1:

Cut the 12"x12" plexi-glass sheet into 2 pieces: 1" x 12"
and 11" x 12"
(if you don't have electric saws, you can use hand saw and some patience)

Super glue the small piece on the edge of the large piece,
forming an L shape laptop support.
Optional: use sand paper to un-sharpen the corners.

Align one of the 1/2" floor flange at the center of the sheet.
Mark, drill and attach the flange on the BOTTOM of the sheet using the bolts and nuts.

Ignore the Velcro belt; it's the last step.

Step 2:

Thread a 3" pipe into the other floor flange, then secure it on the passenger floor using the self drilling screws.

It's getting easy now. Connect the elbows and the pipes and work your way up.

Like this:

Step 3:

Put the (blue) plumbing pipe on the mount as the cover. Looking difficult, but it's pretty easy in fact, as the plastic pipe is flexible.

Thread the plexi-glass support onto the top pipe.

Now, put your laptop on the support, wrap the Velcro belt around to hold it in place.

Mark the position of the belt.

So now you know how the belt should be attached.

[Note that with the threaded pipes, the mount can "rotate" sideway]

Next, cut off 2 pieces (2" each) off the belt and glue them on the bottom of the plexiglass support.
Here shows how it goes --->

This is what it looks like when all done:

What to do with this:

* Gigabytes of music on the go (if you have a killer audio system then that's great)
* Navigation
* Tuning
* Keep the passenger entertained
*And your ideas

The laptop can be powered with a (>200W DC - AC inverter)
Music can be linked to your head-unit with a 35mm-RCA connector
Navigation can be installed with software/hardware such as Copilot
[All the wires for the above can be routed thru the blue pipe. No more messy wires like this one]
